Khajoor-Anjeer Barfi | Sugar Free Mithai | Dried Fig-Dates Barfi


Figs-Dates Barfi; one of the easy /guilt free sweet which is sugar free and full of dried nuts. This can also be served healthy dessert or nutritious snack. Figs and Dates are natural sweeteners, so no sugar is required in it. Dates help to keep our body warm as it is good source of fibre,calcium,iron; its highly recommended in winters. Let's give Dates-Fig a new look and get the benefits out of it.






Ingredients-
               Seedless Khajoor (Dates) – 10 gm
               Anjeer (Fig) -50gm
               Khaskhas -2tbsp
               Kaju – 1 tbsp
               Badam -1tbsp
               Akhrot -1tsp
               Pista  - 1 tbsp
               Ghee – 2tbp

How to make healthy Mithai -

  1. -        Chop khajoor and anjeer in small pieces and blend it to a coarse powder.
  2. -        Cut all the dry fruits in small pieces.
  3. -        Heat a pan,add ghee into it.Add khus khus and fry for 1 minute.
  4. -        Add all the dry fruits (keep some pista for later use) in khus khus and fry for 2-3 minutes till  it is golden in colour.
  5. -        Add the anjeer-khajoor mix to it and fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. -        Grease a plate and take the mix out in it,mix it well when it comes at room temperature.
  7. -        Roll it into a cylindrical shape and wrap in a foil.
  8. -        Keep this roll in fridge 2 hrs, take it out and cut in small circles.
  9. -        Amazing and jhatpat barfi is ready to eat.
